After Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917) : Le Bain LXVII gravure print on paper. Signed in plate, and unframed. From a limited edition (400) published in 1923 by Meier Graeffe, Germany in association with Knopf-New York. This item is accompanied by a document , and a bill of sale from 2005.
Edgar Degas was a prominent impressionist painter best known for his depictions of dancers. Initially trained as an academic history painter, Degas soon found inspiration in modern life and became known as the classical painter of modern life.
