Watercolour
- Original antique watercolour on paper painting by unknown artist depicting the Great Fire of London of 1666, with Saint Paul’s cathedral to centre-left illuminated by the flames racing towards it, and the moon in the distance behind.
Unsigned and undated. Mounted and glazed in frame.
Circa late 19th to early 20th century.
Condition: frame and mount very good, faults to watercolour with foxing, a tear to the left, and a scratch to the paint to the upper left.
Dim: frame 58x45cm high
