An antique Russian Orthodox icon of Mother Of God. Mixed media technique: a hand-painted icon with egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on wood panel overlaid with an embossed gilt silver riza/ oklad. Titled in the Cyrillic lower to the center. Circa: 19th century. Marked with Russian hallmarks, Silver standard mark, and Assay marks. Presented with original wooden case.
