LARGE CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL MILLE FLEUR VASE
A large Chinese porcelain baluster-shaped vase. The exterior is enameled with a Mille Fleur pattern made in the Cloisonne technique. Millefleur, millefleurs or mille fleur (French mille fleurs, literally thousand flowers) refers to a background style of many different small flowers and plants, usually shown on a green ground, as though growing in the grass. A scalloped gilded rim on the top. Unmarked. Asian Oriental vases, home decor, and collectibles.
