A RUSSIAN ETCHING ON PAPER BY ARON ZINSHTEIN
Aron Iosifovich Zinshtein (Russian, born 1947) etching on paper, Melody, 1996. Signed and dated in pencil lower right. Titled and numbered 2 of 3 in pencil lower left. Aron Zinshtein is known not only as a talented painter, but also as a graphic artist: in addition to creating hundreds of etchings and linocuts, the artist has designed many printed editions. The works of Shakespeare, Dostoevsky and Bulat Okudzhava were published with his illustrations. Zinstein's works often resemble children's drawings. Graphic art prints and collectibles.
