Paul Shimon, American, 1919 to 2011, oil painting on masonite, depicting an abstract Judaica religious scene, 1952. Signed and dated lower right. Framed. Paul Shimon is known as Painter and an illustrator. Paul Shimon was both an accomplished artist and composer considered by some to be an early Outsider Artist. Shimon studied at the Art Students League of New York and with W.A. Clark Prize recipient Jean Louis Liberte. A pioneer of abstract Judaica, the influence of his studies with Jean Louis Liberte. One of a kind artwork.
