An ancient Greece silver coin, AR Tetradrachm. 261-246 BC. Seleukid Empire, Antiochos II Theos. Featuring diademed head of Antiochus II bust turned to the right on the obverse and Apollo seated left on omphalus, testing arrow in right hand, left hand on grounded bow to right with words on either side that reads: Basileus Antiochos with monograms in left and right fields on the reverse. Well preserved coin with good detail. Comes with a special coin case with a Numismatic Guaranty Corporation paper label featuring the special information about the coin. Antiochus II Theos was a Greek king of the Hellenistic Seleucid Empire who reigned from 261 to 246 BC. He succeeded his father Antiochus I Soter in the winter of 262-61 BC.
