Lev Feliksovich Lagorio, Russian, 1827 to 1905, an antique oil painting on canvas, Mountain Climb To Castle, depicting cossacks on horseback with distant castle in a mountain landscpe, 1889. Signed and dated, lower left. Framed. Lev Feliksovich Lagorio was a Russian painter and watercolorist, known primarily for his seascapes and maritime scenes. He was associated with the Cimmerian school of painting, composed of artists who worked in Southern Crimea. One of a kind artwork.
Dimensions: Overall size: Frame 24 x 20 3/4 in. Image 18 x 14 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
