A vintage ceremonial pottery egg rattle by Nan Emmett. This is a ceramic egg created using the ancient Japanese technique of raku. Black in color, round in shape, with a human face looking up. Beautiful ceramic raku glaze with dark brown matte finish. Each one of these items are unique from another since they are completely handmade. Unsigned. Made in the 1980s.
