A pair of Chinese Chinoiserie manner patinated bronze sculpted book ends. Each ware is decorated with a figurine of a Foo dog or a Chinese guardian lion with an open mouth, engraved with detailed patterns. Each is mounted on a stand featuring an engraved medallion with flowers surrounded by a foliate scroll motif. Unmarked. Circa: the first half of the 20th century.
