A vintage Russian Matryoshka doll, a large set of 21 hand painted and lacquered wooden nesting dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another. A folk tale character or scenes from Russian fairy tales decorate the body of each piece. The biggest doll is hand inscribed Lesya Loseva, Saint Petersburg, and dated 1994 on the bottom.
