RUSSIAN SOVIET PAINTING COVER FOR PETROGRAD MAGAZINE
A Russian Soviet painting on paper, a maquette for Petrograd magazine of the Circle of Artists Society, which existed from 1926 to 1932. The painting depicts a Worker and a Collective Farm Woman standing at an anvil, against the backdrop of a geometric pattern and a portrait of Vladimir Lenin in an oval in the center. Above the image is the inscription Petrograd in Cyrillic. The artists initials are A on the right and C on the left. Russian Era Newspaper and Magazines Covers and Posters For Collectors.

Matte 16 3/4 x 13 in. Inside 10 1/2 x 7 7/8 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has some stains. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
