Charles Francois Daubigny, French, 1817 to 1878, an antique oil painting on canvas depicting a forest river landscape. Signed lower left. Framed. Charles Francois Daubigny was a French painter, one of the members of the Barbizon school, and is considered an important precursor of impressionism. He was also a prolific printmaker, mostly in etching but also as one of the main artists to use the cliché verre technique. Collectible European Fine Art, Nature Landscape Painting. One of a kind artwork.
