Gino Quilico (New York 1955)
Son of art (his father was the baritone Louis Quilico), debuted in 1977 in Toronto, The Medium by Menotti. In 1988 he was named Artist of the Year by the Canadian Music Council and in 1993 was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of Canada for his artistic achievements. In 1995 he won a Grammy Award for his participation in the recording of Les Troyens by Berlioz (Decca Records). It specializes in French and Italian repertoires. It has been acclaimed in prestigious theaters (La Scala, Covent Garden, Metropolitan Opera, Vienna Staatsoper, Paris Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper) and directed by great masters such as Seiji Ozawa, Herbert Von Karajan, Riccardo Chailly, James Levine, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta. Portrait autograph with a dedication of the Italian baritone.Excellent condition
