הרב אליהו בן אמוזג – הראב"א [תקפ"א – תר"ס] נכדו של רבי אברהם רפאל קורייאט מח"ס 'זכות אבות'. כיהן כרבה של ליוורנו במשך עשרות שנים ואף הקים בה בית דפוס שבו הדפיס ספרי קודש רבים. היה בעל ידע נרחב ועצום במגוון נושאים שונים בהם פילוסופיה והיסטוריה וחיבר ספרים רבים.
