Ben Porat Yosef mortar and pestle with engravings of fish. Was apparently used to crush herbs and the like to ward off or remove ayin hara.
Bronze. Weight: 4.6 kg. Height of pestle: 26.5 cm. Height of mortar: 14 cm. Circumference of mortar: 13.5 cm. Signs of usage. Very good condition.
"מה דגים שבים מים מכסים עליהם ואין עין רעה שולטת בהם, אף זרעו של יוסף ...".
"בן פורת יוסף" עלי ומכתש עם חריטות דגים, שימש ככל הנראה לשחיקת עשבים וכו' נגד עין הרע או להסרת עין הרע.
ברונזה. משקל: 4,600 ק"ג. גובה עלי: 26.5 ס"מ. גובה מכתש: 14 ס"מ. קוטר מכתש: 13.5 ס"מ. סימני שימוש. מצב טוב מאוד.
