Mount Everest 1953 expedition, a plain card, approx. size 7.5 by 4.5 inches, signed by eight team members: Sir Edmund Hillary (1919-2008), one of the first two climbers to reach the summit. Michael Phelps Ward CBE (1925-2005), an English surgeon and expedition doctor. Thomas Ralph Stobart OBE (1914-1980), a British cameraman, filmmaker and author. Sir John Hunt (1910-1998), leader of the expedition. Michael Westmacott (1925-2012), Mountaineering team member. George Lowe (1924-2013), a New Zealand-born mountaineer, explorer, film director and educator. Charles Geoffrey Wylie OBE (1919-2007), a British Army lieutenant colonel and organising secretary. George Christopher Band OBE (1929-2011), the youngest mountaineer on the expedition. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
