3 NOBUO SATOH (JAPANESE, 1926-2005) SIGNED NUMBERED ETCHING
Numbered 5/101, signed lower right 1986. Satoh Nobuo was born in Kanagawa in 1926. He is mainly known for his etchings and mezzotints. A member of the Japan Print Association, his works are in various museum collections (a, o. in the MOMA New York). In 1983 he had a solo exhibition in London, in 1985 a group exhibition in Houston, and a solo exhibition in Tokyo in 1988. His work has been published in book form, and he contributed to the series of 100 prints, 100 New Views of Tokyo, a Message to the 21st Century, initiated by the Japan Print Association around 1990.
