Antique 1929 Schoolhouse Quilt Top Measuring 96 by 101 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 12x13 inches, set straight, 5 by 5. There is a triple sashing of green print and shirting fabrics measuring 5 1/2 inches wide with red and yellow quarter pieced cornerstones. There is a 3" green print inner border and 3" shirting outer border. Each of the schoolhouse blocks have hand embroidered initials. Two have a name Velma Myers and Olive Hyles. Also in the center is the date Jan 20 and along with 2 more sets of initials. It is hand machine pieced and hand embroidered. It is just a top with no batting, backing, or quilting. It is in good condition with just a few small spots and discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional quilt or quilt top we can pack in the same box is $5 each. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
