Vintage c1980 Sequin Blouse and Skirt Set by Bill Blass. This beautifully made vintage c1980 long sleeve blouse and skirt set by Bill Blass features a red silk blouse with a heavily embellished metallic red net with translucent iridescent red sequins and black glass seed beads applied with a metallic silver thread. It has a gold and red braided trim at the arm seams and neckline. The blouse has an elongated waist for tucking into the skirt and zip closures at the back and cuffs. The matching pencil skirt is made in a fine wool gabardine, lined in orange acetate, has a side zip closure, and a back slit with a 2 button closure. Laying flat the blouse measures: shoulders 13.5'', bust 16'', waist 12.5'', sleeve 22'', length 23''. The skirt measures: waist 13.5'', length 28''. The set is in good condition with 1 small area of bead loss on the back right shoulder and a small split at the top of the slit on the skirt. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
