A BYZANTINE TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP FOR 5 FLAMES.
ca 5th century CE. 10.7 cm. Decorated with (Christian motifs), a human (saint) face, an amphora, a fish (Christ's initials) and 2 birds. The base is decorated with an elaborate geometric cross motif. The handle in the shape of a "horse" head. In very good condition and rare.
