Eye catching original 1973 Plymouth Gold Duster boasting 35,300 original miles. (2) owner same family owned vehicle with original 225 cubic inch slant V-6 engine accented with original 3 speed manual transmission. Original interior; tear or damage on drivers bench seat, rear bench seat is in very good overall condition with original radio. Good overall condition; body shows some repairs with the original paint, perfect accented with snake skin accented roof!!! Runs and drives; perfect restoration candidate. Built on the Valiant platform, the Plymouth Duster the Duster was a much sportier variant with a distinctive design, especially from the back. That allowed it to compete with the likes of Maverick, Chevrolet Nova, and even Volkswagen Beetle. they introduced a Gold Duster trim package midyear. As the name suggests, this one came with gold badging, gold side and rear stripes, and other gold touch-ups. The interior also got more luxurious vinyl seats, a wheel cover, and more.
