Certificate of appreciation to Rabbi Zlotnik on behalf of the Order of the "Bonim" in Canada - December 1948
A rare certificate from the Habonim Zionist Order given to Rabbi Yehuda Leib Zlotnik on the occasion of increasing national consciousness among many cities in Canada. "Your name will be fondly remembered with the names of the Builders of Zion and the Jewish State of Israel." 'First Year of the State of Israel' Montreal December 8, 1948.
At the top of the certificate are the names of the members of the leadership of the order and the founders. Below are the signatures of Director Leon Crestohl, and Secretary Samuel Levine, and a sticker with the emblem of the Zionist Order of Ha"Bonim", founded in 1923.

Rabbi Yehuda Leib Zlotnik [1887-1962] Rabbi, bibliographer, Zionist activist and one of the leaders of the Mizrachi movement in Poland and Canada, poet, writer and playwright and Polish-Jewish educator.
