Ratzuf Ahava. Innovations on the Sha's by Rabbi Shlomo Ben Avraham Algazi, Frankfurt Dauder [1692], second edition.
On the title page is an impressive engraving depicting the scene of Jacob meeting Joseph in Egypt in an eagle spread wings, pillars and angels.
The author is the grandson of Rabbi Yosef di Shigobia Benvenisti, the author of "Dovev Siftey Yeshenim". From the sages of Brosa, immigrated to Jerusalem and in the year of 1646 returned to Turkey, headed a yeshiva in Izmir, was one of the first fighters on Shabbtay Tzvi, and even had to flee from them with his son-in-law Rabbi Aharon Papa. In the year 1670 he returned to Jerusalem and was one of the Beit Midrash "Beit Yaakov" founded by Rabbi Yaakov Hagiz, and in the year of 1673 he was appointed Av Beit Din of Jerusalem.
