"From G-d the Future in kushitza 1946, Torah Avodah and Kibbutz" - a group photograph of youths from the refugee community in Koszyce - a village in the Proszowice district of the Polish province, on the banks of the Cherniwa River, where Until the Holocaust, a large Jewish community.
On the right and on the left are the symbols of the organizations 'Bahad' and 'Ba'a' inside the Stars of David. In the center is a Jewish building in the community. The entire photograph is designed by Holocaust survivor Aharon Carmi.
Aharon Carmi was born in the town of Opoczno in Poland. He was a member of the Gordonia youth movement. After the German occupation, a ghetto was established in the town. In January 1943, Carmi's family was deported from the ghetto with the last Jews from the town. While on the train, Aaron's father persuaded him and his brother to jump in and save their lives. The two jumped. Aaron's brother was later caught. Aaron managed to reach the Warsaw ghetto, where he joined the "Jewish Fighting Organization." Aharon fought in the ghetto uprising in April 1943. With the suppression of the uprising, he went down to the sewers on April 28, 1943, moved to the "Aryan" side and found shelter for a short time on the top floor of an abandoned house at 27 Ogrodowa Street. Near Warsaw. He later moved to the Lomianki forests near Warsaw. He joined Jewish partisans in the Wyszkow forests. At the end of the war he immigrated to Israel.
