"Sefer HaEkarim". by Rabbi Yossef Albo - Sudylkow, 1835. The copy of Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Lipshitz, author of "Bris Yaakov" with his Signature, another signature of Rabbi Yechezkel Lipshitz, and more.


Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Lipshitz [1809-1885] The av"d in Semyatits, Wolkowysk, Novardok, and Siedlce. was a Lithuanian Torah genius, noted for his magnificent mastery of the entire Talmud and its nosei kelim, midrashim, Safra, Sifri, Michilta, and poskim rishonim and achronim. He wrote hundreds of responsa to questions that he received from all over the country. Was a disciple of Rabbi Binyomin Diskin of Lomza. He authored the two-sectioned Bris Yaakov and Beis Mordechai. His son-in-laws were famed Rabbi Eliyahu Kletzkin and Rabbi Yechiel Soloveitchik of Militia.

Rabbi Yechezkel Lipshitz [1864-1932]:  Rabbi in a number of cities in Lithuania and Poland and was known for his work 'HaMedrash V'HaMaaseh'. He was already known for his genius when he was a young boy in the Talmud Torah in  Kelmė. From 1906 through the end of his life, he served as rabbi of Kalish and was chosen to serve as the president of the Agudat HaRabbanim in Poland. He was in touch with Rabbi Kook. In 1930, he published an appeal to the Jews of Kalish asking them to choose the esrogim of Eretz Israel over the Corfu ones.
