A large collection of legal documents, related to Rabbi Yaakov Halperin - Founder of the Zichron Meir neighborhood in Bnei Brak

A collection of legal documents dealing with lawsuits against Rabbi Yaakov Halperin - founder of the Zichron Meir neighborhood in Bnei Brak and founder of Torah and educational institutions. Most of the claims concern his right to dedications in various places, such as the Cemetery of Bnei Brak, private use of Hekdeshot money, various claims by the ultra-Orthodox community in Jerusalem against Halperin (Ehrental against Halperin), and more. In some of the documents things are mentioned in the name of the Chazon Ish, and the stapler who were involved in the things discussed in order to serve as a basis or denial of the allegations raised to one side or another. On the other hand, there are minutes of lawsuits that Yaakov Halperin himself sued the plaintiffs against. Among other things, there is a "affidavit" in the signature (on each of the five pages) of Yaakov Halperin regarding the instruction given to him by the Chazon Ish to open a new cemetery in Bnei Brak, and extensive details on how this was done, and his part in it, and the struggles that began between the 'Bnei Brak Haredi burial society' that was established after the death of the Chazon Ish.

Among other things, Rabbi Halperin writes in his statement: "After the death of the Chazon Ish, since he lived in Zichron Meir and died without sons, and I also came to him for 20 years almost every week or more, and everything I did was only according to him sanctified, I decided after consulting with Rebbe of Gur and the Brisk Rabbi, to build in Zichron Meir from the proceeds of the cemetery an orphanage after the name of the Chazon Ish. ... "

The main claim of the prosecution was Halperin's accusation of attempting to take over dedications for his personal needs, so for example we find: "Halperin's eagerness to completely take over the Hekdesh he established by deception and public looting as his own confession, it brings him even to such Deception that the basis of the fact that the defendants, being placed solely under the authority of the Torah, did not want to access any actions that could cause Halperin unpleasantness, but only in the authority of the ultra-Orthodox rabbinate, but also for this (to din torah) Halperin refused ... ".
