"There is a law in Israel and especially in your city of Lodz G-d bless you with a righteous and chasid rabbi ... " - An interesting letter from the Mashgiach of the Volozhin Yeshiva, Rabbi Meir Yaseliovsky
An important letter in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Meir Yaselyovsky, Av Beit Din of Mamel - Mashgiach Yeshiva of Volozhin.
The letter was sent to Rabbi Moshe Helman, in which Rabbi Meir Yaselyovsky details various personal matters - his state of health, Jewish trade, and warm greetings. In the midst of these things, the genius enters into several matters concerning Harassment made to him, and strengthens and comforts that "he will not forever abandon and flourish again, and rise and rise, and all who persecute him will bow down to him..." and extends advice to him on how to proceed after disputes that began with the death of his great-grandfather, and the distinctive power of his righteous mother.
The Gaon Rabbi Meir Yaseliovsky - Av Beit Din of Mamel - died around 1916, was a Mashgiach at the Volozhin Yeshiva (during the time Rabbi Aryeh Levin studied there). He arrived in Lodz from the Lithuanian town of "Zetil" to receive an ordination from the late Rabbi Eli' Chaim Meisel, and he asked him to stay with him for one year. Author of "Tzurat HaBayit" according to the Malbi'm and obtain approval from Rabbi Meisel.
