At the end, the author added, "A Call Against the Spirit of Time" saying things against the changes in synagogue customs. The author, one of the greatest rabbis of Hungary, studied at the yeshiva of R. Meir Esh in Ungvar, and at the yeshiva of Rabbi Kopel Harif in Warboy, was a dayan in Oihel (= Erloi). Immigrated to Jerusalem, and lived there until his death in 1874.
