An ancient slaughter knife of the Moroccan butcher Shalom Ovadia
Large, antique slaughter knife, with horn handle, c. 1900.
The knife belonged to the famous Moroccan butcher Shalom Ovadia (see about him here) and was inherited by his family from the Bukharan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
Length: 48 cm (size 14). Enclosed in an original wooden case covered with fabric. Case dimensions: 55x6 cm.
Few rust marks, good condition.
