Eastern European Jews - Collection of Postcards
13 Real photo postcards of the Jews of Eastern Europe [mainly Poland and Russia] in their traditional dress. Various places, different printers, early 20th century.
Among them: Hassidic children, Zid Typ - a typical Jew in Eastern European clothes, an adult Jew in a coat (1904), Polnische Juden - a Jewish family from Poland at the entrance to their home, three poor children (postcard issued in Russia), A street boulevard showing Jews in Pinsk, Jews from Lodz , Two Jews from Marmarosh, Jewish children in Kowel, and more.
Postcards: 9x14 cm. Seven postcards were mailed, general condition good.
