Souvenir de Jerusalem - collection of Photo-lithographic images
Souvenir de Jerusalem - Designed souvenir box with a set of 50 color-lithographic photos (9x14 cm postcard format) Landscape and sites of Jerusalem and its surroundings, early 20th century. The images are all depicted in French, Russian, and some in English. Gilt inscription on front and back of the box.
Among the pictures that appear: the Old City, worshipers at the Western Wall (from the famous illustration of the French painter Alexandre Bida who painted worshipers at the Western Wall he met during his visit to Jerusalem in 1859), Temple Mount, Mount of Olives, Mount Zion, Jordan, Nablus, Tavor, Acre, The Dead Sea, Hebron, the Galilee, Ramla, the holy places, and many more.
