"The opinion of the rabbis is not satisfied with this gift" - letter from Rabbi Aharon Yaakov Singer (London)
Letter (postcard) in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Aharon Yaakov Singer from London regarding a statue in the form of a girl which was placed in a Jewish cemetery received as a gift, and the prohibition to leave this statue standing.
The genius writes simply that there is a prohibition according to most poskim and decides that Must to write on behalf of the rabbis that the opinion of the rabbis is not satisfied with this gift, and writes to completely remove this figurine from the cemetery, adding that not only because of the magnitude of the prohibition in it, but also because it is very ugly to place a statue of a girl in the cemetery.
