A rare photograph of the Gaon Rabbi Nissim Karlitz next to his brother the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Tanhum Karlitz in their youth.
Hagaon Rabbi Shmarihu Yosef Nissim Karlitz (1926-2019), One of the greatest halachic judges of the generation, founder and head of Beit Din Tzedek Bnei Brak, member of the Council of Torah Elders of the Torah, head of the Chazon Ish Kolel and rabbi of the Ramat Aharon neighborhood.
Provenance: The photo came from the family house.
