In the booklet are 34 photographs from Auschwitz and its various departments, as well as photographs of prisoners taken during the war. In the photographs: the blocks in the camp, the electric fence, the death yard between blocks 10-11 where the Nazis shot and executed the prisoners, the hanging column on which prisoners who tried to escape were hung, prosthetic legs of prisoners who were removed from them before their execution in the gas chambers, the barracks of the women's camps in Birkenau from which they were taken to the gas chambers, the railway leading to the entrance to the camp where the selection was made, a shocking photograph of women before entering the gas chambers (taken during the war), Hair of murdered women, the crematorium, members of the Sonderkommando unit at the time of cremation (from the only known photographs of cremation in Auschwitz), forced laborer prisoners digging, bodies of prisoners whom the Nazis left while fleeing the camp as found by the liberating Russians, and more.
