Collection of early documents belonging to Heinrich Appel, a Jewish soldier who served in the British Air Force during World War II. Appel was born in Vienna, Austria, and completed studies there. During the war, he served as a pilot in the British Air Force, and after the war he immigrated to Eretz Israel.
