Two group photographs of the "HaChalutz HaKlal Zioni" members - Eastern Europe, between the two world wars.


  • "Kibbutz "HaKovesh" to Histad. "HaChalutz HaKlal Zioni", in Kaminokha, Stepan, 1933" (the printed text at the bottom of the image). In the foreground of the photo, a girl is seen holding the "HaChalutz" leaflet in her hand. On the back of the photograph is an ink stamp of the movement: "HaChalutz HaKlal Zioni", Kibbutz  "HaKovesh", a group in Kaminokha". The "HaChalutz HaKlal Zioni" movement was founded in 1930 by the organization of "General Zionist" and the "Achva" movement in Galicia, its leaders included Rabbi Gershon Zipper, Dr. Adolph Stand, Dr. Leon Reich, followed by Dr. Emil Shmorck and Dr. Avraham Stoff. In Stepan, a pioneer training group of 40 men and women who lived together and worked as Lumberjacks and other simple jobs for its existence and some of the town's youth also joined.
  • A group photo of the members of the "HaChalutz HaKlal Zioni" movement in the town of Vishnwitz, Kremnitz District. On the back of the photograph is an ink stamp of "HaChalutz HaKlal Zioni Branch in Vishnwitz" and a dedication "To Comrade Yaakov Wiener, from the branch in Vishnwitz, June 1, 1934 (and signature) Y. Kanzlich Roizenthal'.
