'The Rebbe comes' a collection of postcards. Krakow, around 1900
Der Rebe Kimt. ("the whole town gets excited - the rabbi is coming! he is already here! every soul runs to meet him coming on a cart full of people and goods, every soul wants to see him and hear his words").
Seven rare postcards depicting the Rebbe's arrival in the Eastern European town on a carriage - accompanied by his followers - Jews in traditional Eastern European garb. Krakow, around 1900. Most of them in the rare Eastern European publishing - Salon Malarzy Polskich - Krakow, among others
Among the postcards: a souvenir postcard - 'Gruss aus' lithographic print - depicting the arrival of the Rebbe, Jewish traditional costumes in Eastern Europe, postcard sent in 1898, and others.
