ANTISEMITIC ANTI-BLACK PROPAGANDA MAP OF FRANCE
Map published by German magazine 'Illustrierter Beobachter'. ca 1940. Cover of map says 'France's Fault' depicting a black man holding the French flag with 'Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite' on it, with a Jewish man and Charles de Gaulle behind him. Three maps are included: a map of the 'Near East and North East Egypt', 'Mediterranean Countries and Danube Area' map, and a large map of France. 29 x 22 inches, unfolded. 14.5 x 11, folded. Map has minor splits, 4-inch split on cover, 1.5-inch split at center fold, 5-inch split on left side, 4-inch split at bottom fold, two 2-inch splits at top, right, and left edges, minor tears at some edges, and minor soiling on cover, not affecting image.
