Third Reich German tinnie for the Reichskolonialtagung (Reichs Colonial League) Vienna 16.-18. May 1939. Non-magnetic, unmarked, 2 x 1.5 inches.The Reichskolonialbund was set up in 1933 to reclaim the overseas colonies that Germany had lost as a result of the Treaty of Versailles at the end of the First World War. Since Germany had no colonies however, the Reichskolonialbund primarly mainly engaged in propaganda activities.
