GERMAN ARMY LIONHEAD EICKHORN SWORD
German WWII Eickhorn Army sword with scabbard. Gilded hilt sword with scabbard and lion's head grip. Red glass-eyed lionhead with plastic and twisted wire grip. Gilding on hilt is intact and crossguard features a Nazi eagle with mobile swastika. Reverse of crossguard features a monogrammed, 'HP' and maker's marked, 'Ges. Gesch.' Blade has a fuller running down the center and maker's marked at bottom part, 'Eickhorn Solingen'. Scabbard is painted black with scuffmarks and intact belt ring. Blade length is 34 inches. Sword length is 40.25 inches. Minor loss of plastic grip and minor rust at tip of scabbard.
