JAMES EARL RAY
(1928-1998) American criminal convicted of assassinating Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968. Document claims Ray is a political prisoner and is not guilty of the assassination. 'Ray contends he was set up. He says he was framed by high-level forces, which needed a scapegoat for their murder of King.' Included is typed letter from his brother Jerry with printed signature. Signed by Ray in black ink. 8.5 x 11 inches.
