Original period blade with stamped mark on the ricasso, decorated on both sides with engraved vines, justice figure and inscription in Latin "Ditum Scedus Тon Manet Inustum" and "Fiat Justitia Pereat Mundi" (Let Justice Be Done), hilt is a later replacement
