A MID 18TH CENTURY CHINOISERIE LACQUERED LONGCASE CLOCK, the case with caddy top above a glazed door on slender trunk enclosing a 12' arched brass dial with urn spandrels and silvered Dutch style chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with Subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the arch with Strike/Silent dial fronting an eight-day weight driven movement with five Knopped pillars and anchor escapement striking on a bell. (227cm high )
