FRANCO FRANCISCO: (1892-1975) Spanish General, Head of State of Spain from 1936 and de facto Regent of the Kingdom of Spain 1939-75. D.S., F.Franco, one page, small 4to, Zaragoza, 20th March 1930, to the General Governor of Cadiz, in Spanish. The partially printed document bearing the heading of the General Military Academy is an appointment, according to which Fernando Lacalle Benitez request has been approved, and will be included in the new announcement for future members of the academy. Franco has boldly signed the appointment in his capacity as General Director of the Military Academy. With a very unusual red ink small stamp beneath Franco´s signature saying said by Francisco Franco and several contemporary annotations at the base and verso of the document. VG £80- £100
