COUBERTIN PIERRE DE: (1863-1937) Charles Pierre de Frédy, Baron de Coubertin. French Educator, Founder of the International Olympic Committee. Widely known as the father of the modern Olympic Games. Before the war the possibility of success was doubtful; after the war, I consider it impossible… I would have liked to support your project pecuniarily if was able to do so. Alas!
