CARON GEORGE: (1919-1995) American pilot, Tail Gunner of the Enola Gay during the historic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, 6th August 1945. Small selection of ten Ds.S., George R. Caron, each being signed cheques, Denver, Colorado, March - November 1983. The partially printed cheques are almost entirely completed in Caron's hand and are drawn on the Midland Federal Savings bank and made payable to various individuals and companies including Medicine Man Inc., Robert Brazie MD, Bionic Body etc., for differing amounts ranging from $2.50 to $108.63. All have bank cancellations which only affect a few letters of the signatures. Generally VG, 10
