This is the official silver Proof Set, as issued by the U.S. Mint in 1976.The 1976 silver Proof Set includes the three .400 silver coins issued to mark the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence: Bicentennial Washington Quarter, Bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollar, and Bicentennial Eisenhower Dollar.These coins were issued for one year only in place of the regular coins. All three coins feature the dual dates 1776-1976 the first regular-issue coins to include dual dates. These were the last-ever .400 silver coins struck by the U.S. Mint, and the Quarter and Dollar were the only .400 silver coins in their respective series.
