"BaDerech", "Paper of the illegal Immigrants on board of 'Empire Rival' – the praised British Navy ship which will be eternally remembered in disgrace". In charge: representatives of the immigrants and Haganah people; editorial location: the boat's cellar. July (?) – August, 1947. Yiddish, Hebrew titles.
Two issues of a paper which was typewritten by the passengers on the "Empire Rival" deportation ship and stenciled within the ship. "Empire Rival" was one of three deportation ships on which the "Exodus" passengers embarked in Haifa port on July 18, 1947, when they were refused to enter Haifa. Most probably no other issues were printed. 4; 5 leaves, 28-29.5 cm. Good condition. Slightly damaged corners.
