Includes an essay about the history of Silesian Jews by Dr. Marcus Brann, teacher at the seminary. *Printed circular concerning fund raising for the 70th birthday of the historian Zvi (Heinrich) Graetz, on behalf of rabbis graduates of the seminary and Jews of Western Europe, amongst them Solomon Buber (grandfather of Martin Buber), Zadok Cohen, chief rabbi of France, and others. Breslau seminary was the high seminary for training rabbis and teachers. The seminary operated in Breslau during the years 1854-1938. The seminary was mainly funded by the Jewish philanthropist Jonas Frankel and the director for a period of 20 years was Zecharya Frankel.
